v0.12.1.0

Release notes, uptime checks, and internal app reference cleanup

What is new

  • Cleaned up the public release notes so entries focus on product changes and release status.
  • Added exact dates to public release entries.
  • Improved release uptime checks to reduce noisy failure reports during normal website updates.
  • Added a comprehensive internal app reference to keep future app changes easier to review.

v0.12.0.0

Brand alignment, installer delivery, and updater groundwork

Desktop app

  • Updated the desktop app shell to match the website visual system: black, crimson, gold, and the official Conduit mark.
  • Aligned the app masthead, titlebar, setup flow, navigation, overlays, and shared controls around the current Conduit Studio identity.
  • Added account sign-in earlier in the app flow so access state can be known before users reach the main workspace.
  • Added a logout path from preferences so users can return to the startup sign-in state.
  • Restricted developer state switching and reload controls so they are tied to owner access instead of normal customer accounts.

Installer and updates

  • Added a professional Windows installer artifact path with a stable latest installer URL.
  • Reduced the current Windows installer from roughly 300 MB to roughly 100 MB.
  • Prepared the download and update path so future desktop patches can be delivered more smoothly.
  • Added in-app update readiness so future versions can show an update action in the app masthead instead of relying only on full installer downloads.
  • Kept installer releases and in-app app updates connected but separate, so future patches can be lighter than a full reinstall path.

Website

  • Redesigned the public website around the same premium Conduit Studio brand used by the desktop app.
  • Added account-gated download access, while keeping paid feature access enforced inside the app by account, subscription, license, and device status.
  • Added a dedicated Features page with Core and Labs language instead of making the homepage carry every product detail.
  • Added this Releases page so update notes and patch history are visible in one public place.
  • Changed the masthead order so Features appears before Pricing, and added Releases between Download and Support.
  • Trimmed the footer so it only carries policy links instead of repeating the masthead navigation.

Security and account reliability

  • Added stronger protection around download, dashboard, and owner analytics routes.
  • Improved license verification so account and subscription status stay server-backed instead of relying on local app state.
  • Reduced sensitive data exposure in license responses by keeping the desktop verification payload focused on access and activation state.
  • Improved webhook idempotency so Stripe retry behavior is less likely to rotate license data unexpectedly.
  • Added broader route, threat-model, and website quality checks around public pages and account boundaries.

Known release status

  • This is still a pre-1.0 build. The app and website are being hardened before a public 1.0 release.
  • Windows code signing is not final yet, so Windows may still show extra trust prompts before the final public release process is completed.
  • Labs remains optional production-depth work. The public website avoids naming specific engine integrations and keeps those details inside the app where they belong.

v0.11.2.0

Safer testing before public updates

Private testing

  • Added a private testing environment for upcoming website and account changes.
  • Separated test settings from live settings to reduce the chance of customer-facing mistakes.
  • Protected unfinished website work so it is not publicly browsable while still under review.
  • Made account, billing, license, and device changes easier to check before public rollout.

Update reliability

  • Improved restart behavior so website updates have a clearer health check before they are accepted.
  • Added clearer internal update routines for the website server.
  • Reduced false failure states caused by short startup windows after a website refresh.

v0.11.1.0

Route protection, smoke checks, and account-platform hardening

Security checks

  • Expanded verification for public pages, protected dashboard routes, owner analytics routes, health, and invalid license denial.
  • Added broader audit logging and rate-limit coverage around account, billing, license, and dashboard paths.
  • Added clearer setup coverage for auth, billing, license signing, device checks, and owner analytics testing.

Reliability

  • Reduced brittle release infrastructure that could fail for reasons unrelated to the product.
  • Kept public website updates tied to backup, smoke-check, dependency, and verification steps.
  • Improved the release path so account and license changes are checked before they are treated as ready.

v0.11.0.0

Website accounts, subscriptions, licenses, and device management

Accounts and billing

  • Connected Supabase authentication to the website dashboard.
  • Connected Stripe checkout, customer portal access, subscription persistence, cancellation timing, and plan status.
  • Added license key visibility and copy support from the dashboard.
  • Added desktop device management so users can remove old activations from their account.

Legal and support

  • Added public Terms, Privacy, Refunds, and Support pages.
  • Added support copy for account access, billing, license, device, download, privacy, and security questions.
  • Clarified that website download access is separate from paid app permissions.
